My Story

Hello!

My embarrassing fun fact is that I used to watch wedding videos for fun in college. My roomie and I lovedddd finding the most romantic ones we could find and would try not to cry together (the absolute chokehold this couple used to have on me).

What can I say??? I’ve always loved love.

Those videos (and my journalism major) led me to my first camera 10 years ago, and I've been photographing weddings through my own lens for the last five years.

Although…I do still love a good wedding video.

Nowadays, I have less weird hobbies like hiking, making iced matcha my whole personality, dying at Barry’s Bootcamp, reading (trying to read 52 books this year!) and spending time with my fiancé Jim and our pup, a corgi-golden mix named Winnie.

KIDDING. I love this work because it lets me be creative, but even more because it lets me connect—with you, your people, and all the little moments that make your day yours.

My Method

Do you think you're awkward? Feel uncomfy in front of the camera? AMAZING -- that's what I'm here for. 99% of my couples say that when booking and 100% of them leave with smiles on their faces and gorgeous photos in their inbox.

But how?? Well, I have a mostly documentary-style approach to capture the candid, inbetween moments of your day. I also offer direction so you always look your best — like, close your eyes when you kiss her you weirdo, or just what to do with your hands in general. I give you prompts to invoke those natural moments, and use lots of movement so you never feel stiff (and we can get a few of those iconiqué blurry shots, yes pls).

You like having a plan for most things, but believe the best moments are spontaneous.
You like to find unique and interesting ways to enjoy the best things in life, including (but not limited to) coffee, tacos, dogs and being a lowkey foodie. For example, moving to Colorado and adopting a corgi-golden retriever mix while supplementing an adaptogen-infused coffee habit. Not that I’m speaking from experience…
Traditions just for traditions’ sake? Don’t know her. While you enjoy honoring the past, you prioritize moments that are genuine, fun and feel like you.
You like one or more of the following: Trader Joe’s snacks, being outside, fresh flowers, petting dogs, brunch, impulse online purchases, farmers’ markets, Costco hot dogs and cold brew.
